Our designers have attended seminars and classes in Paris taught by top European floral designers to keep abreast of the very latest trends in floral design which inevitably stem from the latest fashion influences. We then translate our knowledge and skills into unique custom creations infusing European style with the client’s vision for a spectacular and unforgettable event.

Our Designers

Wendy Melrose
Wendy was drawn to floral design in 1994 when her younger sister got married. Encouraged by her peers and family, she cultivated her unique floral sense into a business, Fionna Floral.  Her path has taken her from the backyard to Paris for formal training, to a salon and design warehouse where our creativity comes to fruition. She is recognized for her easy rapport with clients as well as for her enthusiasm and personal commitment which she gives to each and every special event she works on.

Jennifer Zukovsky
Her uncompromising sense of style and steadfast attention to detail are apparent in everything she creates. She brings many years of experience from working with select floral boutiques in Northern and Southern California. She received a formal education at the floral design institute in Portland Oregon as well as training with European masters in Paris. Jennifer recently had the privilege of working on a couple of Preston Bailey and David Tutera events, two greats in the floral world!

Sarah Hackforth
Sarah’s beautiful designs have been wowing the Monterey Bay area and beyond for over a decade. Her unique sense of style continually inspires all who work with her. Along with the seminars attended in Paris, Sarah has acquired a wealth of information and experience from many years as a design professional, always inspired and looking for the next big thing in the world of floral design. For the past few years, Sarah has been an instructor of floral design, mentoring and nurturing many budding design students. Sarah recently had the privilege of working on a couple of Preston Bailey and David Tutera events, two greats in the floral world!

Cloey Allison
A promising student of Sarah’s, Cloey has been with Fionna Floral for over 5 years. Her innate sense of design and ability for creating European styled arrangements complete the accomplished design team at Fionna Floral. She possesses an exceptional sense of romanticism in her creations. Cloey also has the additional responsibility of managing our retail shop, Lina Floral.
